known by Paolo in their own cellars in the Monferrato and Langhe

- Professional cooking classes at the Agliano's Hotel School led in
English by the Italo-American teacher & chef: Enrico Trova. Enrico
and Paolo will guide you through hands-on cooking lessons, using the
local ingredients to make some traditional Piemontese recipes, such as
vitello tonnato, tajarìn, gnocchi, risotto, brasato al Barolo, panna cotta
and of course plenty of the local wines to accompany it. All
concluding in your own delightful Piemontese lunch!

and cultural sites in our region.
Our tours can also be adapted to the changing seasons. Vineyard tours in
September during the harvest. Trips to the rice fields of Vercelli and Pavia
in the Summer. White truffle hunts in October with an experienced guide
and his specially-trained dog. Re-live the Renaissance and witness the
incredible pageantry of period costumes at the Palio in Asti in September,
or stroll through the world famous food fair "Salone del Gusto" in Turin in
October.

A Three Day Gastronomic Tour with Cooking Lessons.
DAY 1
Morning: Cooking lesson at the Hotel School of Agliano - Lunch with your
results.
Afternoon: Half-day tour to Barbaresco with a wine tasting at the Marchesi
di Grésy Estate and afterwards a stroll through the charming village of
Barbaresco.
Evening: Gourmet dinner in a renowned local restaurant.
DAY 2
Morning: Cooking lesson at the Hotel School of Agliano and lunch with
your results.
Afternoon: A tour of Asti, visiting the most interesting sites of the town and
an Aperitivo in a local wine-bar.
Evening: An informal dinner at a local Osteria.
DAY 3
Morning: Cooking lesson at the Hotel School of Agliano - Lunch with your
results.
Afternoon: Wine tasting and tour of the Marchesi Alfieri Castle, its cellars,
and picturesque gardens.
Evening: Dinner under the arbor at a nearby winery.
1000 Euros per person, based on double occupancy. Includes all

A Three Day Gastronomic Tour with Sightseeing.
DAY 1
Morning: Introductory lesson of Piemonte's history and culture with special
emphasis on its wines and cuisine.
Light, traditional Piemontese-style lunch at your B&B.
Afternoon: Private tour and tasting of the Langhe including Neive,
Barbaresco and Barolo, including introductions to some of the Langhe's
most appreciated winemakers.
Evening: Gourmet dinner in a renowned local restaurant.
DAY 2 :
Morning: A private tour and tasting of the Monferrato, including a visit of
the picturesque village of Cocconato and a wine tasting at Bava's Cellars
followed by a traditional country lunch at a local Agriturismo.
Afternoon: Continuing in Cocconato with a visit to Santa Maria di
Vezzolano's Abbey and remarkable church and cloister with its famous
frescos then a relaxing stroll in the neighboring park.
Evening: Dinner at Mario Giangreco's pizzeria -Mario is the three-time
European pizza making champion.
DAY 3:
Morning: Tour of Asti including a visit of our famous, colourful open food
market (Wednesdays and Saturdays) followed by a lunch at a local trattoria.
Afternoon: Return to your B&B for a quiet afternoon of rest.
Evening: In the farmyard of a local winemaker we will have a "Merènda
Sinòjira" a traditional peasant-style rustic dinner with artisanal sausages and
cheeses and highlighted by your own Agnolotti which we will teach you to
make by hand. Accompanied by the local wines.
